Ok, Injen is what I'm after. Only problem is, I don't have the $$$ money right now but, In just maybe 2 or 3 weeks I will have enough for a good one. I'm not asking you to hold it but if it is still available by then. I will buy it. By the way what is shipping to 78645?

its not just an intake... plus i bought mine used for much less than that, and it was well worth it. CP-E is the best money can buy for our cars.

Like I said earlier I always forget about that feature. I am trying harder to remember its there though. And isn't this my 2nd intake post? I don't know off the bat. I am just looking at all my options for intakes.

there arent very many options for our intakes lol

the injen... the cpe... are the common choice
ive have both... and yes the CPe is well worth it.

u can also go custom. A couple of memebers have.
or weapon R. I think even at one point there was a rod millen intake or something like that. I think ive even seen another solaraguy with an akimoto but not sure.

but id pick either of the first choices.

how is the $500 cpe a 1/4 of a turbo?!? following that rationale, getting a custom turbo setup is less than a s/c....and i just dont think that's accurate

since there's so much custom work to be done, i'd put a turbo at around $5-6k dollars, maybe even more

from what i've read, everyone who gets the cpe is happy that they did. and consider it a good bang for the buck. if you're looking for a reliable modification, that's the way to go...and then second is injen (if you cant justify spending that much on the cpe)

dont forget its not just the intake.. i also has the custom MAFci because of its 3.5" piping. As opposed to the injens 2.5? i cant remember...

and its definitely not 1/4 of a turbo... if it was really only that much then id think a lot more of us would be going turbo.

IMO, the cp-e w/MAFci is only good if you're N/A, since that's how they set it up on the Solara. If you go supercharged you'll want an Injen and a piggyback like a S-AFC. There's alot more you can do with the S-AFC.
