that's an easy DIY....everyone here recommends brembo blanks and OEM pads. i chose a different route, but for the most part, everyone says the brembo's are the best.
seifer wrote:i took it to autozone for my engine light, they said i needed to replace an 02 sensor (bank 1 sensor 1)... i replaced it with a universal one, but it remained on. dont know if the cars picky and doesnt like the universal one.
one thing that pops into mind is that maybe you changed the wrong one? bank1sensor1 is the rear bank, facing the firewall. if that is the one you changed, then it may still be on because you used a universal one. lots of people have had the P0135 code (myself included) and they all say that the universal ones may not be compatible, even if they are listed as having an application for our ride. Denso is our OEM parts manufacturer, and it is recommended to replace with OEM brand parts for the O2 sensor.
seifer wrote:trac light im guessing isnt a big problem, but the light being on is annoying =/
mine is on right now too (or rather, the trac is permanently off). when i worked on it this past weekend though, the light turned off after i disconnected the battery, and only came back on after i launched hard enough for it to engage and kill power to the tires....after it stepped in and killed engine power for traction, the light stayed on again.

could be your strut bearings. does it sounds like metal knocking on metal, or like your strut is bottoming out on the frame...? not like a "clink" noise, but more of a hearty 'clunk" ? just don't drive over speed bumps/potholes going faster than 10-15 mph, and you should be fine until it's fixed.
