This is a really good question. I too would like to know the answer to this.

I once had a Dodge Avenger ( old Skool 2 dr, not new 4 door)
I put a Delta 40 series Flowmaster on it and it sounded good to me. ( 2.5L V6)
But the DRONE inside the car @ about 25oo-2750 RPM on the highway would almost split my head in half.

One of the main concerns I had before getting this muffler was the drone..my buddy drives an '06 Charger (3.5L V6) and has a dual magnaflow setup WITHOUT resonator(s). Trust me not much has changed from the Avenger days, his car drones similar to what you describe, you cant have a normal conversation in the car its so bad on highways..its basically two straight pipes coming from the cat-back. I cant live with that much noise...

At this point, as far as loudness goes it's tough to make a judgment since its barely been broken in...but from from the decent amount of highway I did today I would have to say a 5 Straight 50/50. From 2000-2800rpm on steady throttle the sound is a low HUM and isnt unpleasant to the ears and I'd say I tolerate droning noises pretty well considering Im in my buddy's Charger almost everyday...

SO basically, the muffler is only-really-audible at cruising speeds in the 2000-3000rpm range on on steady throttle but not throughout the entire rpm band when I punch, my Injen intake's roar overpowers it like no other. Theres a little bit of give-and-take I guess. Then again, its something you have to experience yourself and be your own judge.. hope it helps!

which model is this muffler? I am on the magnafllow website trying to find this.

http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/shop ... ain&id=386

is that the right page? I mean, this wasn't made specifically for our car was it?

oh, and do you have those pictures from farther away yet?
