What Year Did They Add New Wood Grain?

What Year Did They Add New Wood Grain?

I noticed that this years Solara has wood grain around the plate where the shifter is. Check out the "Photos+360" HERE to see what I mean. I have a 2001 and it doesn't have that, does anyone know when Toyota started to add that? It looks kind of cool -- giving the car more elegance than just having the wood grain on the side.

The gray wood was only on the charcoal interior with "Sport" appearance package including the black pearl emblems, 3 spoke steering wheel and etc for 02 and 03 SE V6 models only.
