We need more info...

white smoke or black smoke? Sometimes when it's really cold, the exhaust condenses (makes it look like white smoke)... if it's black, I have no idea.

Trans fluid causing it? I'm not too knowledgable about that... but I wouldn't think it'd have anything to do w/ it since you are idling...

The transmission fluid won't have anything to do with the smoke.

But yeah, give us more info. How many miles, color of smoke, etc. It's probably nothing to worry about.

how often do you have your oil changed?
what color is the smoke?

(wondering if he's got a sludge (gell) problem)

I'm betting it is just the normal white smoke that you get when you turn on your car and thats normal.
