dude. how about just go to autozone or something or pepboys whatever if you want to put on any intake.. if you gonna buy a random intake off ebay u might as well just do that.
but in my opinion, get the injen short ram, or get the CP-E intake (SEARCH[correctly])
all intakes will make your car a lil louder, search on that as well. if you wanna help out your cars mpgs a lil bit and have a LIL more tone than stock in your airbox, get the K&N drop in filter.. that isnt anywhere near as much as the INjen (which is around 225 or 250 or so with the heat shield)
the CPE intake is the most expensive of the latter., there is a tunable and nontunable version.
just google intakes for 1999 (or whatever year your 'lara is). dont get the cheap kinda tha tlook cheap. dont get the "dragon intake" or whatever.
stick with well known brands. if you dont know any, like what is welknown and what isn't. then get the injen . its nice, you dont need to recharge it, it isnt TOO expensive, and it is a very reliable product/company.
in the car world, for the most part, you get what you pay for. dont take shortcuts. get it done right the first time.
search search search. its a lil button on the top right.
