There are a lot of variables here, but you're probably much better off running the stock rims.

Where do you live?
What size are your rims?
What type of tires do you have on the rims now?

BTW - it seems like some of you have never driven wider rims / tires in the snow. As a general rule of thumb, the wider the tire, the worse it will perform in the snow.

Also, absolutely do not try and use summer tires in the snow (or extreme cold for that matter).
