Did you notice that it was an Enterprise rental car?

Crash and burn? What the hell happened to the trunk lid?

I wonder if they got the Collision Dammage Waiver?

The reason that 90% of the solaras on ebay that are totaled have front end damage is because if you get in a front end collision its very very expensive to repair plus the possiblity of engine and transmission damage. They would need new airbags, new hood, new bumper, new quarter panels, new grill plus some engine parts.

Its very rare to see any car at a junk yard with anything but front end damage

its so amazing thouhg, even with that much damage, the cabin is still intact, just look at it, even inside, its not banged up at all. i dont even want to imagine what it would be like if that had been a corolla or a civic isntead of a solara

That's exactly what I've been thinking through all of our accidents here at SG and from all the pictures I've seen of solaras...it's almost like there's an invisible steel plate that comes up in front of the windshield when there's a front collision

seriously though...you feel SO safe (well..considering) in a front end collision in the solara. When I got outta my car, I expected to see a dent or a broken light...hahahha....rightttttttttt
