Solara Dawn...

Solara Dawn...

Postby Down2TheC » Sun Oct 14, 2007 3:29 pm

Rolling back from St. Louis this morning and shot a couple pics at dawn. Didn't have a tripod or anything to rest the cam on, so they're from the ground.

Here's a few that turned out decent. Better color in the first, better position in the second. :-?

God, I need to paint those buttons up front!

strange thing... I was in St. Louis for 16 hrs total and I had 4 ppl stop me to give props on the car and/or rims. Never seems to happen at home though.

Very nice. I like the natural colors in the sky.

You might want to hold on to those pics until next year and submit it for the 2009 calendar.

those pics are beautiful. very peaceful.
where many hate, few will love,
But for those who love,
they'll see what it's like to live.

Yeah, I would have posted something but I was zipping in and out quickly. Got there noon Sat. for a family gathering, left at 5AM Sunday.

Next time I'll hang around longer. Nice road trip distance. 330 miles - 5 hrs down, 7 hrs back.

I love those shots man, VERY nice!! The natural coloration actually compliments the color of your car very well and gives it more of a "belonging"...

I'm an hour north of the city and was going to the south west side of St Louis. 67mph avg including the 15 min. smoke/bladder break. Still doesn't touch your time but not bad. Cruise is set to 80 in the 65 zones. Didn't see a cop all day.
