Ballast or the HID light bulb question

Postby socalisolara » Sat Oct 13, 2007 11:47 pm

Just installed HID on my 00 Solara and I am having a problem with one of the HID light bulbs turning off on its own. I checked all the connections, ballast, fuse, and etc and i am still having a problem where the passenger side HID is going on and off on its own. Can anyone help?

the ballast.
had the same issues.
swap the ballasts with eachother, then you'll know if its the ballast or the bulb.
chances are it's the ballast and not the bulb itself.

good luck.

But for those who love,
they'll see what it's like to live.
