10/19: my car has new boo boos *updated 11/3 fixed*

Somebody hit the Solara's side mirror and ran, leaving this for me to look at all day (the person was already gone by the time I found out):






I am driving it to the dealer tomorrow, I don't know how much they will charge for this fixing.

For replacing a sideview mirror (whole unit) we charge 1 hour ($100). There's no way of knowing if that could just be fixed or the whole unit needs to be replaced.

up until yesterday my lara had no big dings like that.

Right now I am trying to get the parts from a junkyard.

Today, I called a local Toyota dealer to ask about a brand new side mirror's cost. My jaws almost dropped when he said "230 dollars".

no its not at all that expensive when i got mine replaced i just went to ebay trust me much cheaper and the plate that the mirror is connected to is gonna be bent if its not that bad u could probably bend it back into shape if not fina a solara in a junk yard and get it.

That's expensive for the kids that don't know how to change them out.... I swapped one out on Posh's solara last year, easy job, got the mirror for 80 bucks, new, painted, from toyota.... lol
