^ he was askin if it matters if its auto or manual, not SC or not.

And no, it doesnt matter, as long as u get the full kit (headers and ypipe), because i think the manual headers are a tad bit diffrent than the auto ones, the rear header is just a few inches off because of the manual ypipe.

other than that no...also, if ur going to stay stock and not go S|C, theres really no point in these headers.

but for an S|C application, these are FCKN SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET

No difference between manual or automatic.
If you are supercharged get the 3", if not get the 2 1/2."

Does anyone know how much power it adds or for those that already have it, did this mod make a difference? Please fill me in with details. Thanks.

guys all of the info is in the first post of this thread... I made a new thread so you wouldnt have to sift through tons of BS. If you are serious about this please read the first post and look at JPP's website.

I am a firm believer that these will free up some power on both NA and Supercharged applications, you just wont see nearly as much increase on an NA vehicle. You will however feel a freer flowing exhaust and you should still make a gain on an NA vehicle. The website lists a 20-35 whp gain on a supercharged solara. PM me with any questions, thanks.

So is this mod for SC Solara's or unmodded Solara's? Does anyone know how much power this adds?

Dude you guys serious. Just go to their site and see their numbers. SC car expect 33whp I believe tops and NA guys expect at least or so half of that.

They are good products or the group buy would of never opened. SEARCH for the old posts!!!!!

As for NA guys, the 3 inch might be too big and can hurt some performance somewhat. Same with the SC guys. Big exhaust is for big HP,Big motor and mainly turbo cars where back pressure is there already. For NA people it just stress your motor out for those extra HP. Do some homework and search. If you got to ask, any mod on the solara will not give you super gains. JP is one of the few and in fact JP on a NA car gives almost as much of a gain as SC ALONE. ALMOST AS I SAY ALMOST.

K K K.. Back on topic. Thanks for the group buy. Keep us posted and they are truely good products.

As for almost having 9 people... we only have 3 for absolute sure right now, one seriously considering, and a lot of other people I havent heard much from. I highly doubt we will get 10 people, I just dont think it is possible. We are having a stretch for 5 people at this point, so I wouldnt be that optimistic, though it would be awesome.

As for the performance, Dats is right... the specs are listed on their website. 20-33 whp gain with the trd supercharger. Expect about half of that on an N/A application. JPP makes a great product with proven gains and quality fit and finish- there isnt anything more to know. If you want to have headers for your solara, this is your chance...

we are down to 3 people that are in for sure and the deadline is 2 weeks from tomorrow... at this point it isnt looking good if we stick with that deadline. I would really like to get my headers by the end of november since my car is going in for some other work then and it will be easiest to have them installed then... lets get 5 people together guys! keep the interest coming...

no he isnt, the headers as well as the entire exhaust system is a serious bottleneck for our cars. granted for an N/A setup, it will not gain you as much as a S/C setup, but it should relieve all the backpressure from the clogged y-pipe etc. There are past dyno results on the site somewhere. I once had this setup. its worth the money
