Does anyone know how to extend the terminals on the battery, so you can put in a yellow top optima battery?

cut off the terminals, use a 4 gauge butt connector and 4 gauge wiring to extend the power wire and then on the other end put your new terminal on. For the ground you can do the same, or you could just use 4 gauge ring terminals and 4 gauge ground wire and replace the entire ground itself. Hope that helps!

Though that is an easy way to "bandage" up the wires, I ran into corrosion problems (current leaking) on the terminals. After I completely gutted and reran the power and ground cables, no more corrosion on my yellow top.

Is that why I'm experiencing some corrosion? the corrosion I get is on the ground terminal, and that was completely re-run. The power has been good so far...
