I'm sure if someone organizes and gets 10+ orders paid for in advance, then he'll get them made (10 order minimum).

someone just needs to take the initiative to get a list going again.

i believe that last batch went at $50 a peice...but there may be a price increase due to parts becoming more expensive.

Check or Money Order

Jim = PDX SuperSolara

if there's a list started, make sure to PM jim to let him know that another GB is started.

^^ yeah, that's why i said to PM jim once there was a sign of real interest...that way he could kill it if need be. i was thinking from the other direction, being that i didn't want a bunch of individual people getting in touch with him w/o any organization...that way only one person will notify him, and let others know if it's a no-go.

bwahahahah, either way i'm glad i already got mine!

FROM PAGE 4

Chinky420 wrote:the stock engine mount that is replaced is actually kinda like a gas cylinder....it has more free play (up and down motion) than jim's, which allows the entire transmission/engine to vibrate more. this vibration is basically a loss of power, and is rectified by having a stiffer mount w/ less free-play. also, the stiffer mount means less wear and tear on the transmission, since there's less damaging vibrations.

even if you can get off the line w/o wheel hop already, you're still probably losing some (albeit relatively small) amount of energy from the vibrating engine.

personally, what i noticed after the install is that the car idles a bit smoother, is a hair more responsive, and possibly has a bit more power at the wheels (though i doubt more than 1-3 hp, if that).

but then again, this could all be psychological, and jim could just be selling us hopes and dreams (j/k jim).

I sent Jim a PM but he has not responded to it. I knew a couple others on TN want one. But untill Jim answers me, I;m not starting a new list.

Jim's account on here doesnt work any more for some reason, the only way to get in touch with him is by calling him.
