hey, just making an introduction. I've joined so I can find out where to get a single din installation kit without that silly "cargo" hole on it and the upper and lower grills for my car. any suggestions?

Hey welcome to solaraguy. Post some pics of the ride.

I know some gen 2 owners have billet grilles which look good, or the Mike T grille.

Upper grille - Lund 89047 (formerly Trenz)
Don't know the Lund # for lower grille

I know there are a grille without frame perimeter...you'll have to use the search button but I'm sure you'll find quickly.

yep! I've got the 20% tint all 'round already. I also have a 12w6v2 in the JL box sitting in my room with a 1000BX Hifonics amp. I got what I think is a decent deal on the sub (420 for the sub and box) so I went ahead and got it. I've also thought about painting the calipers.
