If it's jbl, it's 200 watts (300 if you have the sub)

Use the search, it's been discussed within the past month in the Solara section

If you have the JBL system its 8 speakers in 6 locations. The amp is roughly 13-17watts/channel. No subs but your rear 6 x 9s serve as the bass for the system

the sub was actually an option... they never told me anything at the dealer, but when I was checking the Toyota site, they mentioned "200 watt (300 watts with optional sub)"

Something like that

Sub was only available on the convertible which gave you 7 speakers instead of 8

Would the JBL system have JBL advertised on the speakers and stereo? Because my stereo is just a stock typical one that they sometimes have on Ebay and my stereos have no big noticable JBL signs or such.

I'm not sure who makes the OEM system. Also what is "best" to you may be nothing to someone else.

What kinda music do you listen to?
Are you really into sound
Do you desire deep bass

You will also have to replace your headunit to see any increase in sound.

your radio is made by Delphi.
model prefix=A or D = Delphi
model prefix=5,6 or 7 = Panasonic
model prefix=1,2 or 3 = Fujitsu
model prefix=L4200 = Alpine

that goes for all toyotas.

The JBLs start with 1 so they must be Fujitsu
