I don't see a Gen 2 with that paint often, nice find.

Looks like the magnetic grey metallic for gen2.5, but that's a gen2. Weird, must have have the whole thing painted. Or did they have a grey for Gen2 (is phantom grey a real color)?

That's where the Toyota emblem is on all Gen2s.

EDIT: I looked up the paint code chart from one of the old posts, there is no Gen2 grey color, must be a paint job.

I second that Cosmic Blue Metallic... our color can look anywhere from blue to purple to grey depending on the angle and light...

Also, Jerry, I think the OP was talking about the "TOYOTA", not the cowboy hat... hard to tell from the pictures, but looks like there's an emblem right underneath the left edge of the spoiler.

I vote Cosmic blue. I've seen cars of that color that I was sure it was dark grey until I got up within a couple feet of it. Very deceptive on a cloudy day.

But if not, then it's a titanium or magnetic SE. What's the mystery?

I see what everyone is saying about the TOYOTA now.

However, look at the chart. The Gen2 did not come in any shade of grey.

It was probably repainted and whoever did the job was too stupid to resituate the emblem properly...

Makes sense to me, but should have just left it off.

Exactly !

The theory of the cosmic blue metallic can be retained...it makes sense but the grey is so present.

Nope, the "Toyota" (spelled out) emblem has been moved just below the spoiler...

I'm guessing that after the car was repainted, the place that did the job just put the emblem where he/she thought it belonged, but was incorrect... Happens all the time, especially at cheaper joints that don't take any "before" shots to match things up with...

Should have just left it off.
