Well Moe to be completely honest It doesn't look as good as it should for a car of your caliper.

Maybe it'll look different when its on your actual car but it just doesnt look right. I would get rid of the center bar and the toyota emblem

Showing the radiator = ugly

I am not a big fan of mesh... but whatever floats your boat

I think a good quality black mesh (not chicken wire), behind the blue bar and logo, to hide the radiator would look nice.
Let's just pretend I didn't grow up, or you're going to be terribly disappointed.

Ever see gutter guards behind the logo? Not high-quality but cheap and nice, in my opinion. Or even at the bottom below the grill.

Hey Moe--

Lately i have been trying to come up with a new grill style.. my friends from M1 Autobody in El monte, CA gave me a ideal. As you all know that they make alot of Grill for the IS300 and in my opinion the IS300 has some pretty nice ones..

They suggested that i buy one and take the plastic center piece out and cust it to fit the Solara Grills. They have some nice ones that are made of plastic so its not like all those Mesh ones out there. Something a little diff.
I mean its alot of work but i think that it would look nice once you find that right one. its better then Mesh and others. plus it hides the ugly radiator..

I mite be doing this project along with some eyelids for the 02.. im not sure when imma be getting all this done but once i do i will post pics..

well i dont think alot of you have noticed but my grille is different...it was custom made to have two pieces attached to the sides to act as eyebrows for the s15's so any mods to the grille will have to be done to the "holes"...so other grilles wont even work. thanx

If that is the case.. then the best thing to do is to go with the Mesh....

Sorry couldn't help there..

I think you can still use this grille, but put blackmesh behind the holes. It will look great.

if you use meah (gutter thingies) just use enough anti-rust spray opn them before you mount them on your car....I think that would look sweet!

I see what you mean about the eyebrows. I would still say get rid of the center bar and the toyota emblem and then see how it looks. Also can you snap a few pictures with you holding it over the car, that could change everything.

On a side note, would your shop be willing to make custom grills for our cars?

hmm...u mean like the eyebrows? my grille only fits like that cuz the s15 is thinner in size than our solara hl's...however if yall have a picture of what you want i could request it and see if he could mass produce some...moe
