^ lol thanks, yeah i found those weights in my moms basement and used them before i worked at the moving company last summer because i was small and weak as hell. I need to step up to some bigger ones but i never work out anyway so Id rather spend the money on my car haha.

Ill look in the boxes again to see if i missed the hardware and gaskets... if I didnt get it Ill call them, thanks for the heads up!

I don't know about the hardware, but I know they've got the gaskets. I ordered them not to long ago when I got my used headers. I bet they just forgot about it.

The muffler is fine looks better than the greddy fart cannon style. But if you really don't like it cut the tip down and attach a universal end to suite your needs.

i liked the greddy fart can... it made my car look ricier and then people thought it was slow, having a kit and huge exhaust... it was sweet :D

Joe- the "EGR" setup on these headers looks different than stock, what is the difference between the setup with the headers and stock?

Well, I guess you could call that an egr tube. But not the one we all talk about related to the SC. We all have one going from the exhaust to the egr valve and one going from the egr to the tranny. The one pictured is the first one I mentioned. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
When installing be sure to have the PB Blaster handy. You don't want to stip or round one of these. It's tight between the engine and firewall. Also remember to loosen the motor mount, then lift the engine about 1".

Almost the exact same as what we currently have.

Ask one of those installing their new exhaust. If anything contact Dawgz. He might still have my old one.

haha, Ill have some after the new year- I took the car into the shop before christmas break but my mechanic was going home for the holidays as well- basically just free heated storage for a few weeks :) Both of us will be back up there a few days after new years and the work will begin, so Ill be sure to head out to the shop and get some pics for you guys.

It will be a little bit before the actual exhaust goes on because the trans will be out for the rear main seal and axle seals. Then he is going to weld my EGT sensor and Wideband O2 sensor into the headers/y pipe before they are bolted on, otherwise I would have tackled the install myself. I might see about getting some poly bushings in there while we are at it, but Im not sure what is offered yet.

The rear bumper is being removed to fix the fadedness/ crack he put in it when he fixed the clutch for me, so the body will be almost mint in the spring as well. Ill also be test fitting something when the car is on the lift... should be a very niiiize surprise in the spring for everyone :D

I also want to say props to Jose at JP again- he overnighted the gaskets and hardware to my shop- they forgot to toss them in the package. As long as the fitment is right I will be very happy with JPP and their product/service.

Thanks for bumping, Ill get some pics with progress soon!

I am not a big fan of the muffler either, but couldnt argue with the gains form the 3" pipe... if it really looks bad on the car Ill get another evo 2 muffler or apexi WS and weld that on instead...

and yeah, i think thats the same bed I have had since about 7th grade haha... i have an apartment so its really nice, but yeah i fit in there alright haha. as they say with the solara as well though, no fat chicks

are you located in cali?
If u are the matte finish will help with harassment from the police
since the headers would eliminate the cali-emission precat.
