Yet another trip.... **UPDATE**

To the body shop.....

Well today i was headin' back to work Chik-Fila while on break.
Well i was tryin' to find a spot to park.... And a white Tacoma was backin' out and i stopped for them to back out, but he didn't see me i guess... and backed into my car....
I was honkin' and tried to put the car in "R" to back my car up to avoid him hittin' me, but me honkin' didn't have him stop and by the time my car finally shifted to reverse, and i was about to let off my brakes to back up he had already hit me.
While it was cold and light drizzle.....
Anyways here are the pictures.

Last picture is kind-of hard to see the damage, but this was at night.
That's most of the damage.
Looks like a new hood maybe, and new grille.

Call his insurance company and the lady called him to verify, and he said he would try to pay out of his own pocket.
If he can't pay out of his own pocket a claim adjuster will be comin' out to give me and estimate for the damage.

Well decided to make a risk and open the hood.
Man was it a pain in the arse to close it again.....

Front radiator support slightly bent.
Hard to tell that's it's slightly bent.

Showin' how much the hood latch brace is bent pushin' the low pressure side A/C line....

Tommorrow i will try to get an estimate on repairs.

How can people not pay attention like that? Don't people look behind them when they back up? That really irritates me.

At least he has insurance.

This is the problem with all the giant cars. No one can see anything, so they just go and think everyone will see them.

Same goes for them changing lanes on the highway...they never look before changing lanes, they just go and think; "I'm bigger, they'll move."

I hate all these giant cars.

Yeah i'm goin' to see if i can get a CF hood instead of OEM hood.
Maybe a Renova grille, i love th OEM grille though....

Yeah i know.
As of right now he said he's goin' to try to pay it out of his own pocket....
If he can't afford it then, his insurance is goin' to pay for it.

"MCOjerry" Yeah i know. And he was honest to the insurance claims' department tellin' them the whole truth and not B.S'in about it.

"sahuddleston" I think it will be about a week maybe 2 weeks most cause of the cold weather kickin' in....

yeah i would go for the cf hood and renova... i wanted to get a cf hood when i got backed into last summer but they were able to salvage my hood so I wasnt able to. You could always get the renova grille, then sell it on here and buy one of our oem grilles for like 20 bucks, then have a little extra cash

I'll have to see.
Last time i ruined my hood i wanted a CF hood, but insurance wouldn't buy it cause it wasn't OEM....
I have an extra grille too at my friends hanger, just collectin' dust. lol.
Another grille won't hurt. :wink:
