repainting the solara...please help photoshoppers!

Alright, so I am finally finishing up my paint job and have a dilemma. I have been wanting to match the look of Gabe's Red Knight, but keep the dwp base color and still paint the grille, hood and roof black, or maybe just the hood and grille black:

with my DWP gen 1:

(took a wrong turn and ended up in a mudhole!)

so, a little photoshop help would be awesome! thanks guys.

thanks damon, thats what I plan to do now, with the grill black as well. the roof is still in the air...but this sure helps. Damon, I think you have the perfect picture, I will look forward to the finished photoshop!

yeah, on rich's I really don't care for anything black extending below the window and really want to maintain white on the outer portions of the hood. I just think it matches the natural lines of the gen 1 much better my (and damon's) way.

yeah, i dont usually take the time to post pics, i know I should but i have so much other work to do that the solara gets overlooked...but i may have to change that once I get it out of the body shop.

That's how i wanted to paint the CF hood if i got one. lol.

here is one of mine pre-kit... I personally wouldnt paint the hood black, I think it looks kind of strange, but maybe not... paladin's looks good, your call!

thanks a bunch damon! hmm...i'm kinda leaning toward the carbon fiber hood with outsides painted dwp...with renova grille painted white on the border, black in the middle. damn, this is a tough call.

i've confirmed my decision...I will paint the entire car and renova DWP for now, then when I get my cf hood I will paint the corners DWP. the more i looked at the black, I just dont think I could pull it off on a white car, too much contrast. Thanks for all the help guys.

That's what i'll probably do. lol.
I'll probably get a CF hood and paint the sides at the hood lines.
And try to find a Renova grille.
