I agree. Not much may LOOK damaged, but what IS damaged isn't going to be cheap.
Now, insurance companies have negotiated rates, so they might get it done cheaper, but if you were to just take that to a shop and have them fix it yourself, I think you'd be surprised by how much it will cost.
Sounds like that's what you are going to do, se report back with the total estimate.
If it's going to cost more than 50% of the value of the car to repair, I'd take it in for an insurance estimate...I'd rather have a car totaled that pay that much to fix it. Like a few have said, when there is too much damage, your car is never the same.
With that damage you have, I'll be you NEVER get the same ride out of it again.
