Paint chips from hood

Paint chips from hood

Postby fever100 » Thu Jul 10, 2003 10:22 am

I have a flame red 2002 solara conv. I have noticed tiny paint chips on the hood and side of My Toyota. I had this same prolem with a new Ford F150, and ford repainted my truck and almost every one I know who had dark c olor trucks. Toyoya dealer says it caused from tiny gravel from the highway I've also owned a new 2000 Grand Am -no prolems and traveled the same highways daily. I also had a new 1985 VW Golf and at 225000 miles no prolems, and still driving the same highways. Does anyone else have this problem? (While I was at the dealer another man was in for the same thing). Does anyone know of a service bulletin for this problem?javascript:emoticon(':-?')
