Got enough light??

Got enough light??

Well i got this idea from another forum that i'm on.

Everyone knows that the little OEM halogen trunk bulbs sucks arse lightin' up the trunk.

OEM halogen trunk bulb.
Not enough light, IMO.

So this is what i did.

1. 15" white cathode tube.
2. 1/4" male connector spades.
3. small fuse holder.
4. some fuses to go wit the holder.

And you get this, link below.

IMO so much better than that little dinky halogen bulb.
I used a 15" white cathode tube that are used to light up computer cases.
Only spent about $15.00 for the whole setup.

Tell me what you think.
Thanks.

Thats actually pretty sweet. Kinda like pxls custom reverse gear light. I could use a more powerful light back there, I carry my tool box around in my car all the time so it would come in handy.

Yeah it's very helpful no need for an extra flashlight to find somethin' in the trunk.
Then again i hardly have anythin' in my trunk. lol.

Yeah actually that looks really good. I remenber when iwas installing my sub, i had to tap into the rear speakers through the trunk, and it got dark while i was doing it. I had to go get a halogen light (like they use for painting and construction) and an extension cord to see wtf i was doing. xD

BTW, i see all the bear metal(or painted metal, w/e u wanna call it) what did you do, take out all the trim pieces that match the trunk floor mat?
