LOL!!! JP has been dynoed, anyone can go to a muffler shop and get one made like Dats... I had one and a few other socal guys had custom ones made.Plus I don't know if you ever read some of the issues some of the guys had with Dats pipe... it was too small or something.. (I kid I kid).

i know that is why i was wondering which style y-pipe was a better design! obviously they are both better than stock....but if you had one or the other custom made, which style would you prefer?

I am not going to lie I would rather have a JPP style but I currently own a Dat pipe and I am very happy with it. I guess for me it would come down to cost to have it custom made.

Well, we ran into some issues with the install. Apparently the clutch plate is rubbing the shift fork somehow- Mike thinks there is a spacer missing from when the last clutch was installed by the POS dealer I got my car from. We also found that said shop broke one of the carrier bolts off in my axle... not good. So basically the only way to get the axle back in without damaging the new axle seal may be to go with a whole new axle, which Im really hoping is not the case, because I just ordered tires last night and Im just about spent  Hopefully things will be looking better next time I update, just excited to finally have the car back!
