No you are correct.


Alright then why would he need to replace the intake system? If there is no MAF the ebay intake should be fine unless the 5SFE doesn't like 3" pipe either?

On the 5SFE the ebay intake is great except some have problems with the rubber coupler being too big for the throttlebody. The real problems come on the V6. Just make sure you get an ebay filter with cotton all round some have that stainless mesh on the top that does not filter well at all.

Anyway ere is a pic of one installed it might help you out.

Lol thats kinda funny. the engine bay is dirty and messy and then bam there is a nice clean intake.
