makes me think that getting a 4cy 2az engine aint so bad.. especially now with the all the aftermarket support it has.

Shim the waste gate and it might hold longer out giving you more power. You have an internal wastegate. You can shim it.

Really nice setup...you want to change the turbo for a bigger one ? You aim for which whp range ??

Before I got my Solara, I played Forza 1 with he I4 Gen 2 Solara turboed. In fact would be a great idea to do it on a manual Gen 2 I4. The E351 tranny share a lot of parts with the E153 tranny...mad props ofr your car and your future projects !!

thanks. i really want to hit 300 hp but i think i will probably achieve that in the next couple of months. the 2az motor is actually a really good motor to build on, since there aftermarket pistons, rods, etc...

ya it would be nice to see gen 2 owners start boosting their car

*sniffs* makes me kinda regret to have held off 1 more year when I was still breaking ground into the car stuff as toyota put in the 2AZ in the 2001 models replacing the old 5SFE engine. Very sweeeeet.
