Just got the car back monday... and installed the underglow!

Postby BadAngel » Wed Jan 23, 2008 9:10 pm

Well as most of you probably read before i got into an accident about a month ago and I just got the car back on Monday. I took the car to a friend of my brothers who gave me the family discount... and it was STILL 6500 dollars in damage. If i had gone through insurance, he said it would probably have been totaled, and if he wasn't a family friend, it would have been between 8 and 9 grand. Since i had the day off Monday for Martin Luther king JR day... I decided to install my under-glow. I also have some pics of my sub-woofer which i installed in November(finally).

Your license plates look BUSY lol

underglow is OK IMO, not much love for them around these parts but a mod is a mod, as long as you like it. enjoy!

Looks like it's brand new man.
Congrats.
I'm not a big fan of the under car neon lights....
But hey it's your car if you want to mod it that way.
FYI, you should get a tripod.

Yeah... only if your driving with them on... also in my area.... aslong as your not on a highway or major road... your not going to get ticketed lol... but yeah you can get a ticket for driving with them on... (i think they DON"T ticket certain colors... but they definitely ticket red) It also depends if the cop feels like being a douche lol...

and yes i am too lazy to blank out my license plate... in case anybody was wondering xD!

The car looks great man, looks like they did a great job. $9K shouldn't have totalled it (that's around 60% of the vehicle value), but it's definitely higher than I thought it would be.

How does it drive? Does everything seem right?

Also, by "busy", I believe Chris was talking about your license plate frames (the dealer advertisements). Some chrome or stainless steel borders would look great on it! It's hard to see from my signature pic, but you can see what I'm talkin' about in my SoundDomain link down there (either car).

ahahah i used to have plain plastic ones but when i took the car in to have it serviced the Toyota dealership (Rockland Toyota) replaced them with their own plates... xD i actually want the TRD ones... ill get on that soon... My family always left them on so i guess its a force of habit... There was some other stuff i was going to do first, like a new shifter knob but now that you mention it.... those look kinda dumb xD!...

And it drives beautiful... i cant notice a difference, if there is one its microscopic lol... its as smooth as ever. (I had the car up to 100 yesterday and my only complaint is it was going left and right slightly but it was very windy out so, its not the cars fault xD...) Yeah i am smart ... i had the car back two days and i get it up to 100 lolz

Yeah i agree wit you man.
I was jokin'.
When i did my trunk lightin' it was windy and hella cold.
And at night when i was tryin' to take pictures it was semi chilly for me.
I had to take about 4-6 pictures and pictures and pick one that that was the best.
