^ not happening..that resembles the lexus so much
where many hate, few will love,
But for those who love,
they'll see what it's like to live.

I think one reason the Solara failed (in two parts) they wasted time/money with a totally different design instead of just making a 2 door Camry (BTW the Gen 2 is fxing UGLY)

AND: they call it a Solara, not a Camry, or Camry coupe or whatever. I see plenty of 2 door Accords out there so there must be a market. Of course being able to get a 6 speed in the accord can't hurt too much either.

Well, I know this ain't happening for any new Solara, but I might try and steal the idea of the flush mounted exhaust. I am seriously considering going with a dual exhaust on my Solara. I wonder how feasible it would be to make it custom mounted like this ^^^

Different streak for different freaks...

Same reason why some guys don't like the Gen 2 as well - go figure> :-?

This doesn't resemble a Solara in any way to me, besides I thinks it's got an ugly ass on it (except for the exhaust that is).

Hey Brian (QuickSEV6); Finding a flush tip to fit is the hard part. If you can get the Lexus LS460 tips to work the rest is easy. On the Lexus, the tailpipe from the muffler just floats inside the inlet of the tip. The exhaust system actually doesn't touch the flush mounted tip. So it's real easy to to get it to work. I've been to the company in Japan that designed and manufactures that exhaust. (Too bad I can't get the tips.)
