Since i had aftermarket wheel and suspension, do you guys think they will let me claim the recall? Has anyone tried it?

EDIT: My rear passager side suspension make some really light knocking (like ringing bell) noise, is that it?

How badly is noise? The noise for me only appears when I go on bumpy roads. Is yours the same?

I checked the manual and it's covered in my 5 year powertrain warranty.

you can try, but they have every right to deny the claim.
if you had TRD parts, that's a different story.

Meh! I get that sound once in a while... but I was denied warranty on grounds of "couldn't recreate situation" but the guy told me that I still had 16k miles before the bumper to bumper is over, so if it comes back, I'd be covered (hopefully)... of course, ironically, when I drove off the lot... it did that for a little stretch

How about springs and struts that aren't TRD (Eibach & KYB), but with stock tires? Would you be denied solely because of non-TRD parts (even though they are different parts) that make up part of the rear suspension?

nope.
basically, if there is an aftermarket part in your car that could cause damage to other parts, aka, suspension then you've voided the warranty on the affected parts.

In my manual it says

"The powertrain components listed below are covered under the Toyota New Vehicle Warranty for a period of 60 months or 100000km, which ever comes first, subject to the exceptions indicated under "What Is Not Covered" on page 10 and 11"

Under the powertrain warranty, it includes "Axle Shafts"

The manual also says: Non-Toyota Parts, or any damage or failures resulting from their use are not covered by any Toyota warranty.

I am positive that the hub assembly is not damaged by the aftermarket suspension. Otherwise the recall won't even exist.
