i have a 2003 4cycder solara, do i have a solar sensor, and how does work?

i beleived they removed it for gen 1.5, which would be 02-03. It was on the 99-01 models, and basically it turned your lights on automatically when it was dark enough.

if you want to see where it used to go...

look at the a/c vent that's right under the windshield. On the passenger side, you will see a circular shape.
