Camry with new wheels!

Camry with new wheels!

Postby beigecamry » Tue Feb 26, 2008 11:44 pm

I picked up some used Konig Tantrum 17" rims today from a fellow TN member. I never expected to get rims for my car since they're the most expensive items on my mod list and I don't have much money to spend (college student). Anyways, I installed them today and took a few pictures. I've been considering painting these black but others have told me to keep them the way they are. What do you guys think? Also, I'll upload more higher quality pictures tomorrow.

I got them for $150. Included tires as well but they don't have much tread left. I had to get some new lug nuts though, that was an extra $25. Thanks for the compliment!

Thanks, I think I'll keep em silver. Just thought black could look good since it would match the tint and add contrast to the beige.

Yeah I thought the price was good so I jumped on it. Now I just have to worry about getting some new tires.

I agree, the chrome adds contrast between the tire and wheel. I'm not good at painting wheels, as I have no experience with it, so I guess I'll play it safe and leave them be.

Yeah i would leave them alone, I think youd have less contrast with black wheels- looks good! those are the wheels I wanted for my car in high school

Thanks, I'll leave them silver for now. I was looking for some Enkei's, either RSV's or RS5's, but then I saw this deal and I had to pick these up. They turned out looking better than I thought they would.

I'm lowered on Eibachs and KYB's. The drop was uneven when I first installed it, but now it kinda evened out better. I was thinking about getting new struts though, something stiffer.
