Pretty bummed about it but I was getting my radiator flushed at 30k and my mechanic told me I had a water pump leak. Good thing my car still falls under the 60months/60,000 mile warranty. Just picked up my car today at Ourisman Fairfax Toyota and they replaced everything. :)

Has anyone else here had problems with their water pump before 60k?

Ourisman Toyota told me that this is the first they had a 1MZ-FE with 30k that had to get the water pump replaced.

I had my water pump replaced at 99k when I had the timing belt done. It was showing a little wear, but would have been good for many more miles.

got mine done at 108K. I can hear the water pump grinding at the morning start. Timing belt and accessory belts too. The accessory belts had little cracks on them already.

30k is a little pre-mature. how's your driving style/commute?

I didn't experience any weird noises coming from the engine....only from the supercharger  ....but as far as my driving habits...I rarely even gun it or even race. 15% to 10% racing.
