My backup/temp Fog light housings came in today (thanx Damon), so i took off my fog lights and did some test fitting.

with that wiring harness, it should make it 100X easier to change the bulb with the h3 bulb in there.

A polycarbonate (kind of plexiglas, but UV resistant, and more durable), You can "cook" it in the over and curve it to the right shape. I never did it, but I saw some forum about it. You need to be carefull or your lens will melt, do bubbles or will burn.

They do copies of "RC car frame" with thin lexan sheets, with a custom vacuum box.

Im sure you can bend one more thick to fit the fog.

so, since my appointment with the glass/plastic factory is on monday, and just as a back up i thought about making my own lense.

I started off with plexi glass just to get a gist of the project, and then if it goes well from there ill move over to lexan sheets which are more resistant to scratches and cracking than plexiglass.

Im pretty impressed with my first attempt, i still got to paint the inside of the housing correctly as well as fix the edges of the plexi glass, but this is a...
