This is just a write up based on my personal experience with this shop.
Long story short, I got a hold of a used set of Racing Hart C5s and brought it in this shop for repair.

Here is a pic of what my rims look like: (Not my actual rim)
http://farm1.static.flickr.com/35/64418 ... a4.jpg?v=0

Rim Specs:
Brand: Racing Hart
Model: C5 3-Piece
Size: 19"x8.5"
Offset: +38

It totalled $650 for everything. This covered repair, polish and center caps refurbishing for all 4 wheels. I have instructed them to not touch the center star piece of the rims since they are in good condition.

20 Days later and it was ready for pickup. I am impressed.

Nice lookin wheels. But $650 seems like a lot if they didn't have to touch the star. How much damage was there? I'm sure that is the bulk of the cost.

Do you have any before pictures?

Oh snap! Check out their polishing!

I wonder how much it would cost to have a TRD supercharger completely polished! The would be killer looking!

(Just a suggestion for some of you folks!)

Yeah, they are a bit pricey but they were the cheaper of the 2 places I was looking into. The guy from Quicksilver (i think that was the Co. name) quoted me $250 for each rim.

The rim didn't have alot of damage. Just lip damages. One of the rim had about a foot long scrap around the lip, one had a deep gouge and one had a small crack (inner lip). All of them were pretty true. The rim lips were pretty dulled out and milky looking. Also the center caps all had yellowing clear coats and they were peeling.

I forgot to take a before pics.

My center caps used to be machined aluminum with clear coat. Now it's buffed to a mirror finish. lol. I thought they were just gonna rebuild it to like new condition. I am not complaining though... it looks better than before. I just need to somehow buff that plastic center sticker/cover in the center caps.

Hey hey,

I didn't know. actually, I wasn't even sure there were peeps still in here from the TeamSC3/C-Spec days.

I just thought I'd give my once brand new, old (200,000 miles) TRD SC Solara a new look.... god, i need a new car.

Wheel Techniques is a great wheel repair shop. I had one of my rare SSR wheels repaired and plan on getting the others refinished and repaired. yes they are a bit pricey but it's well worth the money Imo. I think TrdKamuri still has the pics of the repair.
