Any difference?

Any difference?

Ok so i have been thinking long and hard about this. Since finding an auto EGR tube is going to be next to impossible, and the people who have them and and not using them are not parting ways with them (and I don't blame them). I am going to buy a stock tube and get it to fit. The only difference I can see between the 2 tubes id the flex section on the TRD one. I know 99V6SolaraSLE had got his stock tube to work, but is having a CEL pop up. I cannot have this happen in Missouri otherwise I fail emissions and cannot register my car. To make a long story short. anyone see any other difference between the 2 tubes, besides the flex section??

Any help would be great. I am so close to the install I can taste it, but coming up the rear is selling the thing and I REALLY don't want to follow that path at all. Thanks!

Since I have an auto, the auto plate would do me no good.

I have an auto EGR pipe, but I will be using it unless I can find a manual one. I had planned on swapping out the EGR cooler like gregtrd recommended, but if someone has a manual EGR I could get rid of mine.

I'm sure that doesn't help much, but it's worth a shot.

Are you open to fitting your stock one on?

I probably won't be messing with the stock one since I got a pretty good price on an auto EGR cooler. This would be the cheapest route for me at the moment aside from trading my EGR pipe for a manual one.
