Where'd you get the matching paint from?

find a paint that closely matches your a-pillar, then paint the whole pillar with the pod.

I knew that, I was just wondering if he used factory matching paint and if so where he got it from.

...and this is where I come in.

After having my gauge pod sitting in my room for over a month, I finally found paint that would match. Its made by SEM and the color is sandstone. I'll post some pics of how close it matched. Its absolutely perfect.

I sanded the gauge pod using 600 grit wet dry sand paper and then painted over it

Heres a sample pic. I got the SEM paint from FinishMasters which was a local paint shop. Check with a few auto places

I'll take more pics If/When I get the A/F gauge working

yeah I finish my a pillar yesterday too. The color looks exactly like yours. I have the same problem you do, I can't get my A/F meter to work. It's that damn purple wire. I don't know where to tap it into. If you get it to work. Can you please tell me how. Thank

this may seem stupid . . but how do you get the a-pillar off . . and where do the wires run . ?

U can either drill a holes and run the wire into the holes or the way i did is put the a pillar low, next to the dash and run the wire down. it's really hard to see the wires.

I use double sided tape (same tape used for the TRD bodykit). The other way is drill holes and screw the a pillar on.

There are retaining clips that run the length of the pillar every 8 inches are so, the pillar just pulls out from there.

Once its off I drilled one hole to run the wires and used 3M double stick tape. It has worked great so far.

Next I think I am going to get it fiberglassed or molded in to look even better
