Brett just wants his car to run guys... anyone in his situation would want the correct part to but the charger on right. If you have an auto EGR tube, help them man out.

Money is not the problem, it's the state and all the hoops I have to jump through to let my car pass with a CEL. I don't have the time or energy to go through that. BTW I am looking at shops to make me tube, we will see how that works out.

If paying $400 every 2 years to play the game, then I have a S/C for sale

I have to wait 4 years until my care hit the "no need for emissions" rule.

So in the mean time I will still look for one, I have until June.

I hear you. In Wisconsin the limit is $400 for '95 and older...there is no limit for '96 and newer. The thing that sucks is if I was 1 mile down the road, I would not have to be concerned with smog (different county)!!! Now that I have had my Camry on the rollers, I must pass before I sell/move the vehicle. When I went to have it tested my monitors were not "ready", so they put it on the rollers. I protested after the fact, my mistake. So now practically everything is off the car except the s/c, Injen and JPP's and it still won't pass. They claim too rich!! I thought we had a lean problem associated with the s/c.
Currently I am contemplating removing the s/c, once it's off I might part it. Too much of a PITA.

Please read the thread guys, Brett has to pass emissions- he has made and read countless threads about blocking off the EGR- that is NOT a solution that is going to work for his situation!

If money's not the problem then yu'll be fine...

you gotta know people is all

look around on your local tuner forums and show up to a few meets so people know you're legit....I'm sure you'll come up with a contact

that, and if something as simple as emissions is the problem, then take off the blower once every 2 years to go dyno. not exactly a hard thing to do as long as you don't throw out your stock parts

Those are all possibilities, but wouldnt it be easier to just buy an auto EGR tube and be done with it? never have to tear anything off again or pay anyone off? I think thats exactly why he wants one and would like to find one.

lol...sure...kinda like the people asking for power...

isn't it easier just to buy a supercharger? but yeah...kinda tough when there isn't really many out there...and as for egr tubes...even rarer....ironically enough lol.

but yeah...good luck to anybody looking for one, that's all I can say.
