So I took all your guys advice and got myself some new rims...tires are following soon. Here's a pic of the rims that are currently on their way from Cali to Jersey:

I plan on running with Continental ContiExtremeContact 215/50-17WR Tires.
I just wanted to share and get some of your feedback. Im excited and cant wait for them to come!

These were in my final 10 when I was shopping for wheels. I think they look very sharp. I hope you enjoy them :).

hey, cut us some slack, we live in jersey where roads are extra crappy!
i've got the same size wheels and tires, and with the extra rubber, i've yet to bend a rim (knock-on-wood!!)!

Roads in the northeast are horrible. I was gonna get 18's but they would have been ruined quick. 17's are the best compromise between, looks, performance and comfort.

I have dealt with Whalen and The Tire Rack and have been satisfied with their service. I have not personally dealt with Wheelmax, but they have a HUGE selection!

yeah, maybe, but i wanted the acceleration advantages of a lightweight 17 opposed to an 18.
besides, with a drop, it doesn't look too bad.
