I'm sorry about "Luv" Missay, that sucks. I am a pro at getting cars fixed, my last Camry had bullseye on it, it was wrecked 5 times in 2 years. Once when it was just parked on the street. Make sure to get your own independent estimate from a reputable body shop to compare it to what the insurance company estimates. They almost always come up lower and try to go the cheap route. And, if your head isn't feeling better definitely see a doctor, you could have a concussion and not know it. Hope you feel better soon!

lol, its funny.....but i wonder if her car is fixed....... I think i am pretty sure its some vacum line loose or broken from her accident at 2002.

PS. I had a side impact accident in 2000, i thought it was funny that after i got hit and i saw my rear wheel cap rolling pass by me

Strange

Postby JMSinMaryland » Fri Jul 25, 2003 8:09 am

Missay,
I had an accident yesterday around 12 noon. A woman turned right in front of me (even though I had the right of way). Last thing I saw was my airbags going off. The whole front of my car is wrecked including fenders, hood, bumper, headlights, grill, TRD kit, etc, etc, etc. I got away with a few cuts and sprains and my neck is killing me. Prob a least 8k of damage to the car. It was her fault though, I'll get some copies of the police pictures and maybe scan it for all to see. Jon.

Sorry to hear the news. Stay away from 'recommended body shops' that the your insurance will give you. It's always best to find you own or go to the dealer. If the other girl is at fault it's coming out of her insurance's pocket anyways. I prefer the dealer because of the fact they are supposed to be 'professionals'. Also, they will get you genuine Toyota parts. Who knows what these other less reputable body shops could get you. I think Toyota will also get the job done right and quicker. Just make sure you don't have to pay anything out of your pocket! Whether you or the other girl is at fault, both insurance companies are supposed to handle everything, that's what they are here for. Just make sure you have everything you needed taken care of at the body shop.

Take care!!!!!!
