I gave a call to ur cell yesterday but no one picked up.

Erm, are u willing to part with the wheels and or the TRD kit? IF so im interested.

Also, if u do part out, ud get more for that car anyway if u sold these parts out first, they are of no value on the car, atleast people dont think so.

So let me know if you do decide to sell them! hit me up on pm!

^ +1. if you do part out, can I get your engine cover?
where many hate, few will love,
But for those who love,
they'll see what it's like to live.

is that an authentic TRD FSTB? it looks like the OEM one with a sticker on it.

also, did you switch out headunits? or did you mean premium JBL system, instead of BOSE (JBL is what the factory upgrade system was, BOSE would be aftermarket).

also, i'm guessing that your wife did not buy the car new. i want to say that the TRD edition of the Solara was only done to SE's, and not SLE's...also, by the lack of some TRD peices under the hood (radiator cap for example), and the funny looking exhaust (dual tip?!?), i'm guessing that the car was bought used, and the previous owner(s) installed the TRD lip kit, and the sticker on the "TRD" FSTB.

anyone correct me if i am wrong, but this feels like a stock solara w/ some TRD bought/installed afterwards (instead of from the factory).

silverstreak: don't get me wrong, i'm not trying to make you look bad. i think it's a beautifully done ride, i just think that it could be misleading labelling it as a TRD solara (esp. when the peice most people are interested in is the TRD supercharger, which you clearly do not have).

PLEASE, ANYONE, if TRD did do an SLE and did not include a s/c (thus making this an authentic TRD built car), please correct me, as i have been known to speak out of my ass before.

If you call leave a message and I will call you back, but I as it stands it will sell better having the TRD kit and wheels vs a regular SLE.
If I change my mind I will post up.

I dont think I represented this as a TRD Solara. Those came with superchargers did they not? Just that it has a TRD body kit and wheels.
I stated that in the listing. She bought this a few years ago and we are the 2nd owner. There is an aftermarket muffler on the car (DTM tips) but we still have the original Toyota muffler which will bolt back on if you want it.
Dunno about much about Toyotas - I have German cars myself and am a Corvette guy too. as far as the JBL thats what it has, after looking at it. My wife told me it was a Bose so thats what I listed. Apologies for the error in the listing. It is the factory Jbl in dash 6 disc. Again its not my personal car so I went with what I was told.

i thought that you had listed it as a TRD solara SLE, not SLE solara w/ TRD parts...but i could be wrong...that was at work and i don't really remember since i was relatively busy today (i only checked SG twice! )

btw (out of curiousity) how did you go about attaching the side wind deflectors? did you mount them with doublesided 3m tape, and then mount them high enough so that the window doesn't catch the lip of the deflector? ..................or did it come like that when ya'll bought it?

either way man, good luck with the sale. <90k miles is good for a 2000 (my 99 already has 125k)

I edited the title as I see how it could confuse people.

Window rain guards had double sided tape on them - it came that way. But one time at a car wash one cracked and it was a bitch to remove. I had to use goo gone to get the tape glue off. I would not recommend installing these. There is one left on the pass side which the new owner can either keep or remove.

As I said my wife thought it was a novelty collector car being it has TRD parts on it. I do like the look but it doesnt have enough torque for me.
She rarely drove it.
Thanks for all the inquiries. I hope she goes to a good owner as we have been.
