Silver Solara...

Silver Solara...

Postby SammySolara » Mon Jul 28, 2003 7:02 pm

Today, around 4 PM
We were making a left hand turn and a big ass pickup (F2500 or something huge like that) sped up and swipped my passenger side of my SILVER solara.

It was a no fault accident the police officer said...

Now, I have 2 questions:
*Since, I wasn't driving (my friend was) and it's my car... what will happen insurance wise?
and
*How much do you think it will be to fix the damage on the cursed silver Solara?

Eeech....I got hit by a deer, yes it ran into me, this weekend and there was alot less damage. It's going to cost about 2 grand to have me fixed for this coming weekend. This looks like it's going to be greater than five grand. Hope you can get the insurance figured out. It's also good that you're ok :) .
Let's just pretend I didn't grow up, or you're going to be terribly disappointed.

I am fine, stiff neck and sore right side of the body.

I was in the passenger side (since my friend was driving) and had to climb out of the window.

Ouch...sorry to hear what happened. But the most important thing is that nobody gets hurt and you got out ok.

Some insurance companies cover any driver that drives your car w/ the same level that you have. Some other companies skimp out and give them the bare minimum coverage...

You better just call to find out... =\

So sorry to hear about your accident :(
Insurance laws vary by state, in Indiana the driver would have been covered under your policy. You should make a claim with YOUR insurance even if your agent tells you not to, therefore you have the insurance of the other guy and your insurance company looking out for you. I've worked for insurance companies for many years, I know insurance is a necessary evil. Also if you are having any pain go to the doctor ASAP, the longer you delay the more they will try not to be responsible for any medical bills. :(

GRLP! Sorry to see that...I would guess get some estimates..seems like a junkie door would be cheaper sometimes than repairing that! and yeah, insurance varies by state....i know in Wisconsin if that happened to me, my rates would go up (cus my friend would have been covered under my policy) in texas...he would have to be covered under his policy..unless he doesn't have one..then it goes to see if you gave him permission to drive..and long story short...it varies by state!
