The adhesive should not have removed the paint at all. If you're daring, you can try some touch up paint, tho I've never used it and Id be skeptical whether it would actually match the factory paint.

If you buy the touch up paint from your Toyota dealer they will give you the touch up paint to match your car. I used touch up paint for minor rock chips on my front bumper.

Now that's some powerful quote, in my part of the country if you buy the touch up paint, they'll let you see it, but they won't give it to you. Lol. Jon.

This is exactly why I did not want to do my badge removal myself. For fear of something catastrophic like paint removal. If you pay a little bit a shop to do it, and the paint falls off, then they would have to pay for the touch up.

Check out the LANGKA.com website. The product has been mentioned on this site before and it looks like the real deal. It is a product that blends and smooth your paint into chips, scratches, etc. I have ordered it and will use it on some small, but very irritating chips on my ride. You'll need to get factory matched paint from a dealer or another sourc, and some clearcoat to make it look right.
