Are all your roads under tree cover? I'm surprised you don't get reception.

Bump.

Most of them are... see this thread: http://www.solaraguy.com/viewtopic.php?t=39133

Except for the occasional open highway stretch, at least 80% of my driving is in the trees now... I may get reception in and out, but having it cutting out every few seconds is annoying as hell and I turn it off and then forget to turn it back on when I get into the clear again...

I'd rather just listen to my iPod or CDs uninterrupted. ;)

That sucks...here in Orlando we have a good ground repeating signal, so trees are not an issue.

Bump for ya again.

^^ What trees? LOL! I've been to Orlando, and if Disney didn't plant it, it was probably never there in the first place!!

We have 200+ yr old Live Oaks here that they just build the roads around - they can't touch the trees.

(thanks for the bump tho' Jerry!) ;)

You have never been to ORLANDO then. There are some live oaks here to rival your 200 year old ones and they don't affect the signal.

We have some streets downtown that are completely covered by live oak tree canopy.

Bump again.

Not sure if the non-JBL HU has a Sat button on it, does it?

If so, then there should be an aux plug in the back of the HU and should work fine. If not, then probably not.

I do have the JBL stereo in my car with the SAT button,,, its a 2004 and your ad is for 2005 & 2006. You removed it from a 2005??

Why are you getting rid of it?

I would like to buy this unit most likely. After you get back with me, I will call the dealer to make sure it will work. Pretty sure it will.

Lemme know

ooo, Jeff you got a bite! Honestly, if I weren't so close to dumping my car, I would have bought it from you.

I wouldn't be dumping it at all if I lived out in the open areas... it was great for those long trips to Vegas I tell ya!

But - I no longer take my car on those trips after my last sandstorm incident either, so not using it anymore. :(
