What are ways to blow your knock sensors?

You probally wont have trouble on a stock car, but with F/I thats where you can have trouble

The knock sensors are located under the intake manifold, and there is one each for the front and rear banks of cylinders on a V6. You would first know that there is a problem if you get a check engine light, and a scan will let you know if it's related to the knock sensors. Sometimes, the CE light is just giving you a warning, in which case the light will go off after a couple of days. If one of the sensors is blown, the light will stay on.

I had a lot of problems with my #2 knock sensor when I went to 5.5 psi of boost. Since getting new cylinder heads, I'm now running 7 psi of boost with no problems.

A 5.5PSI pulley should be no problem even without a SAFC if you have 93 octane, but it is highly reccomended that you do get the SAFC and have it dyno tuned.
