7 pound pulley installed... Dyno Tomorrow

Scott,

Are you experiencing problems similar to what happened when you installed the Supra injectors? I haven't had any issues with my 7 psi pulley yet, and I haven't heard of anyone going through what you're going through with them. Did you do anything else when you installed it?

Basically the ECU is flooding my engine with fuel... its running so rich, that it can't smell any oxygen, so it ends up pushing even more fuel in or something... its weird.. I think its because my O2 sensor has carbon buildup on it.. im not sure, but tomorrow im calling Jim and im going to get to the bottem of this...

Eric thought that maybe the S-afc II was doing it, but I un-installed it, and ran it stock again.. .and it was doing the same thing.. I think that one of the sensors is fouling up... so.. Im going to check the o2 sensors tomorrow... because it runs fine w\ the 4 but not the 7... so its not the spark plugs, or the S-afc II... so this has to be it.. but ill keep people posted..

That's really weird. I'm having the opposite problem. I just did a dynotune today, and my problem was running way too lean with the 7 psi pulley. I have S-AFC and we tried increasing the settings to get more fuel, but then the ECU started retarding timing. I never got below 13.5:1 air/fuel ratio.

By the way, I think that Jim has been out of town. He may be back by tomorrow, though.

I did the dyno today, and it looks like you were right. The problem seemed to be with fuel delivery, though.
