now you have another reason to part out :drinking:
Damon I'm truly sorry to see that man..

I am seriously glad you're out alright..

Idiot drivers..
You had one of the best looking and running gen 1s out there.
where many hate, few will love,
But for those who love,
they'll see what it's like to live.

I am completely speechless right now. Watching the progress of your car becoming what it is now, is the whole reason why I got back into working on my car.

I just want to say I to was also rear ended 2 years ago. I was on I-70 doing 60mph while a 5 Series BMW hit me doing 85mph. I thought I was ok... but the following day my back start hurting and on my way to work my right side of my body went numb almost felt like a stroke. Turned out my lumbar support in the seat caused my lower back problems. So def get checked out if you feel anything different.

My car also received at first minor damage they had to replace rear bumper, trunk, and paint. Than it turned out my engine rocked on the engine mounts tearing up and breaking gaskets and had steam billowing out of the engine bay. It all was fixed, I hope to say that same for you. Glad your doing ok hang in there.

Holy Sh!t!!!

I'm glad you are ok.

That really is a tragedy.

After your wedding, you should get another Solara and start from scratch.

Good luck on what ever you choose to do.

Damon, what are you doing--you're doing it all wrong, man! You're supposed to stress out your soon-to-be-wife during the wedding not before the proposal. Glad to hear you're alright, because, dude, if you were harmed in anyway she'd probably kill you. By the way, regarding our last conversation: so after all this you still don't want to drink alcohol? I must say you're a stronger man than I. If this happened to me I'd be all 'Amy Winehouse' up in a dive bar for the next week!

That's a damn shame Damon, but at least it was her and not you that got mangled. Hopefully she lives to rev another day.
