Glad to hear that your car is fixed and running well. I was hoping to talk to you last Saturday about your knock sensor experience, as I have been having similar problems. I even went so far as to get the new cylinder heads to reduce compression, but I'm still having problems. The car ran great for awhile with the new heads and 7 psi pulley, but after getting a dynotune last week, I'm getting the CE light and the ECU is retarding the ignition timing. I will be taking it in to get an EBDII scan tomorrow. I hope it's not the knock sensor again, as I just replaced #2 when I got the new heads. I will be looking seriously at the JP Performance headers in the near future to free up the exhaust flow.
By the way, I'm still surprised that you had to get both knock sensors replaced. Everyone else, myself included, has only had problems with #2. I hope the dealership didn't take you for a ride on that one. Did your OBDII scan show problems with both of them?
