Silver Solara...

Postby SammySolara » Mon Aug 04, 2003 7:59 am

The bodyshop just called and said its 8,000 dollars to fix it... The insurance company will pay for all but 500- the deductible. It will be ready for pick up on August 27 (nearly one month after the accident).

Got my Solara back yesterday... It runs very well, I forgot about all of the power it has compared to what I've been driving the past month.

Unless you knew my car was in a wreck you would never have guessed and what made me feel the best is as I was leaving the body shop in my baby some dude pulled up next to me and complimented me on my ride

Sammy's back in action!!!

Thanks happy_aggies but it is now fixed... took about 2.5 weeks

Damage was listed at $8,350.33
I only paid the 500 deductible and I am sure insurance will go up.

Sorry about your baby, what happened? How long ago, if it is new hope you get it fixed and back on the road soon.

Why more than 60 days... mine seemed to have more damage and it was only about 3 weeks.

Mine went from tire to tire damaging the whole passenger side, front wheel, breaking front side window etc...

Glove compartment is stiff and when I race the windows the drivers side goes up faster but the passenger side is quieter.

so get this... its my first day at college... note: also my first time not parking in my own spot at my house in my own garage... If I ever park out of my garage, and its some where that owns cameras.. I park in front of them.. so I go back to my car to make a quick run home to Omaha, and my car has a huge dent in the passanger side rear corner panel... Im like WTF.. what kinda sh#t is this... so I look, and there is a note, probably only because of the camera was right on me... and its going to end up being about 900 dollars.. also, I blew a knock sensor that day.. what a great day at college.. and it was my first.. I guess its only going to get better...

Kinda stupid, but we came back and forth couple times.

1st it was done and when I abt to pick it up, someone drop a tool on the rear quarter panel. it scratched and dent. => back to the shop b4 I even pick it up.

2nd they forgot to fix the left rear body kit (I was T-bone from right side) but my left rear hit the curb so the left rear body kit is scratched and damaged rim.

3rd Gosh.... they fix the scratched n dent but not perfect.

4th It's totally fix so I took it ==> then I washed on da wiken I found out that front body kit is scratched ==> took it back for fix.

5th... when I abt 2 pick it up, someone put a big deep ding. :o
Back to shop.

PS: Gig'Em Aggies
