Whats the BEST OIL FILTER!!!!!!!

Thank God!! Thought you were serious.
BTW, I use a WIX for my cars and an Ultra filter on the Solara.
It's supposed to be a reusable element, but I think I'm going to replace it anyway. I just can't find one anywhere.
Got Boost?? :sweet:

i just changed my oil (Castrol Syntec 5w-30 since its about to get cold) and put in a new bosch filter (#3330), ive been using bosch filters for the past 3 years and I've never had any issue with them. Id prefer OEM, but my supply of 10 filters ran out and there hasnt been a sale at Toyota for them in a while.

Interesting issue.

I've used FRAM filters for years and have never had issues... including on a 1992 Toyota pickup with 430k miles. That being said, how you drive the vehicle might have some say in that as well. I've used the K&N one, though I'm considering the Mobil 1 filter as well.

You can also go with an oversized K&N filter, the HP-2009 as opposed to the HP-1002, http://www.clublexus.com/forums/showthread.php?t=295468
